 Here are the names of six countries. The riddles below have clues from
the books about each country. Use the clues or a map to guess
the answer. Write the name of the country on the line.

1. I am in Western Europe. Portugal and the
    Atlantic Ocean are to my west. France is
    North of me. The Mediterranean Sea is to
    the east.

      the northwest. Honduras is north of me.
      To my south is the Pacific Ocean.

3. I am in southern Asia. I am east of Iran and
    southeast of Afghanistan. I am west of India.
    China is to the northeast. My southern coast
    is along the Arabian Sea.

  4. I am in Northern Europe. I am an island in
      the North Atlantic Ocean. I am just below
      the Arctic Circle. Greenland is to the
      northwest. Norway is to the east.

5. I am in east-central Africa. I am east of the
    Democratic Republic of the Congo. I am
    south of Uganda and north of Burundi.
    Tanzania is to the east.

  6.  I am on an island in western Europe. I am
      South of Scotland and east of Wales. 
      Together we are called Great Britain.
